Proposal: Easy Miranda

Unofficial Miranda (IM client) package, easier to install and use.
- A (sane) sound pack included in distro (how can you use an IM client without incoming message notification?)
- No "Net Search" hotkey. It's just an IM client dammit.
- No "Show Options" hotkey.
- Install a single protocol by default, everything else is an option. Yeah, I know, I know, hard to make the decision, but you have to. Could be jabber if the interface was made easier.
- Jabber messaging plugin that doesn't suck.
- Why the fuck should I know or care about user profiles? Create a default profile, call it "default" (duh), then let the user add or change profiles all he wants.
- Holding while starting Miranda brings up the Profile Manager.
- Simplify interface customization. Let the user choose from a (small) number of skins with several color themes. Those who need more tweaking will create their own skins. "Find more skins..." web link.
- Throw away the entire "File Transfers" options page. Is it so often that you receive files with your IM client? Just pop up a dialog with "My Documents" as default location. Always ask about overwriting.
- Options dialog a la Mozilla Firefox 1.5? Often-used options are easy to find, advanced ones are buried further away, in tabs and "Advanced..." buttons.
